So, I’m queen of DIY, seriously. I DIY my hair, my holiday and birthday gifts, everything! Since I’m always looking for creative outlets, my new love for nail art makes sense. I absolutely love creating new looks and experimenting with designs. DIY nail art also saves you a dollar or two on expensive salon visits. This post gives you a peek into the products I use, how I create the styles and where I store my supplies. I’m including links to some of the products if you wish to make purchases.

I promise to give some video tutorials at a later date but for now I’m discussing the products I use to create my DIY nail art. First of all, you need a great nail polish kit. A great polish kit includes many bright, easy fade resistant colors. I use J Cat Geluxy Gel Nail Polish. In addition to being reasonably priced, you have a nice assortment of colors.
Next, you will need great nail art guides. So, you say you want to learn different techniques? These books will certainly do the trick. While the books I list below provide wonderful style examples, not all the books provide tutorials. Just keep that in mind when purchasing the books.
